BASF has introduced ComfortBD™ to the U.S. market, a natural CBD-based ingredient derived from industrial hemp grown on farms in the United States that intend to seek certification for their organic growing practices.
Supports Mattified Complexion
ComfortBD™ is an effective ingredient extracted from L. cannabis sativa that supports the look of a mattified complexion and soothes the appearance of red, irritated skin.
ComfortBD™, with monitored levels of CBD over 80% and less than 0.2% total THC, demonstrates its efficacy in both in vitro and in vivo tests. Furthermore, the development of diverse skin care formulations shows the flexibility of ComfortBD™ in final products with no impact on color or odor.
With this launch, BASF is expanding its offering of natural and inclusive solutions in the Care Creations®’ existing portfolio of innovative skin-care solutions.
